Merciful God, we thank you for reconciling us by your mighty hand, and from bringing us in peace to this day. Your wisdom is without limit, O Mighty One: may we seek to share in it and walk in your ways. Guide us to be loving and patient with each other, and to proclaim the gospel through the way we live our lives. Let us comfort the orphan and welcome the stranger, our hearts open to all those in need. Let us spread wide our arms as Christ did to the world, and draw all creation into our embrace. Let us place our cares and concerns before the risen Lord, whose love and care is without end.
