Loving One, we thank You and we bless You for bringing us in safety to this beautiful day. We thank You for the people in our lives who love us and support us. We thank You for the communities we live in, and ask that You bless them and fill them with justice and peace. We thank You for the opportunity to serve You in our words and deeds. We thank You for the self-giving love of our Savior, by whose wounds we are healed, and by whose obedience we are saved.
Help us to walk humbly before each other, in faith, compassion, and gentleness. Help us to turn to You, and those whose love for us is a precious gift from You, when we need strengthening. Hear the call of your children, and place your blessing upon those we now name.
