As morning light calls us to wakefulness,
we praise you, O Holy Trinity,
and center ourselves within your grace.
Clothe our hearts with love and mercy,
O Wisdom of the Ages,
and guide our feet into paths of justice,
that we may work alongside the poor and the oppressed
in the name of freedom and liberation.
Lift up our eyes that we may see your glory, O God,
in every rock, tree, and flower,
in breeze and bird, leaf and wave,
and join with all creation is singing songs of praise.
Pour out your peace upon us, O Holy One,
and strengthen us to live out the gospel of love
as our Savior commanded us to do,
joyfully and without reservation.
Extend the mantle of healing and comfort
over all whose hope is in you, O God,
especially those for whom we pray.
Amen.
