Almighty God,
your glory fills the eastern skies
as we rise to take up our lives in You.
Let us clothe ourselves in obedience to your greatest commandment,
which is to love each other.
We turn our eyes, hearts, and hands to you
as we gather before you in prayer.
We thank you, praise you, and bless you
as the source of our strength and wellspring of our hope.
Help us to draw upon your love
as we move through the arc of this day
and tend to your creation with care.
We ask your blessing upon those for whom we pray this day.
