Loving One, bring us into your embrace. Teach us how to love, for in loving we truly live. Teach us not just to be obedient but to be responsible for what we do in the name of obedience. Teach us to listen for your Living Word, your continuing revelation of your will. Teach us to walk behind You as we turn from foolishness, beside You as eager disciples, and before You as joyful witnesses. Strengthen us in faith and understanding. Bend near to hear us, O Beloved, and give your blessing to those we now name.
