Prayer 2324

2324 (Paris, day 1) June 10
O God, our Rock that Stands Fast,
God Above Us,
God Beside Us,
God Within Us,
we bow before You in thankfulness.

Lead us in wisdom and truth,
that we may live lives of integrity and valor
in the name of the gospel of compassion.

May we take each other’s burdens as our own,
healing and reconciling in your name, O Christ,
and seek to lighten the suffering of those around us.
May we make ourselves a blessing in the world,
aided by the grace of God, the love of Jesus,
and the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Anoint us with your blessing, O Holy One,
and grant you benediction
on all whose needs we lift before You.
