Ascend, my heart, on wings of hope
to rest securely in the arms of the Almighty,
whose love sustains all that is.
God of Mercy,
guide us in the Way of Love:
help us to
turn from sin and carelessness,
learn your ways of wisdom and grace,
pray for those in trouble,
worship you in gratitude,
bless those who reach out to us,
and go into the world testifying to your faithfulness.
May our prayers ascend on the warming breeze,
our spirits led by You, Lord Christ,
into the holy path of reconciliation and truth.
Holy Lord, stretch out your healing hand
and grant your peace to those for whom we pray.
