Beloveds, let us arise
and seek the hand of Wisdom;
her voice is sweeter than a nightingale's
as she calls us deeper into unity with our God.
Loving Creator, we worship You
as the curtain of night is pulled aside
to reveal the wonders of your works.
Renew and restore the spirits of the faithful, we pray:
make us humble and holy,
united in empathy and justice
to be the loving bearers of Christ in the world.
We offer you our prayers and praises:
hear the whispered burdens of our hearts,
the cares and concerns
which we lay in your generous hand, O God, as we pray.
