Most Merciful One,
we come to you in grateful awe and silence,
inviting your Spirit to burn bright within us,
to set us aflame with the love and mercy of Christ.
Direct our steps in the path of compassion, O God,
that we walk gently upon the Earth
and in companionship with each other.
In imitation of Jesus, our Savior,
may we live lives of integrity,
caring for each other and renouncing our divisions,
reconciling the world in His Name.
Holy and Undivided One,
place your hand upon all who call upon You,
for You know our needs before we ask them.
We pray to You especially
for your comfort and blessing upon those we now name.
