God of Glory, God of Grace,
You envelop us in arms of mercy:
We lift our hearts to you,
filled with thankfulness and praise.
Anoint us
with the power of the Holy Spirit
that we may walk in your light today,
turning aside from sin and selfish pride.
Grant us the wisdom to obey your commandments,
that we may live fully into our new life in Christ.
Lord, draw your protection over those we now name.
Amen.
