Most Merciful God,
we rise to worship You,
and dedicate ourselves to your truth today.
Light of Lights, arise in our souls,
and make us shine with your love
as we bow the knee of our hearts and pray before You.
Lead us in to deeper knowledge of You,
O Prince of Peace,
that we may live in justice and contentment,
singing your praise.
Though storms may rage without and within,
abide with us, O Holy Spirit,
that we may be pure and holy in all our ways.
Kindle a fire within us to serve You and each other,
Lord Christ, our Savior and King,
that we may witness to your mercy and compassion forever.
Blessed Jesus, help us to grow in faith
under your sheltering hand,
and make your countenance shine upon all for whom we pray.
