Prayer 1633: for the Suxth Sunday After Pentecost

Blessed are you, O God and Creator of all,
who calls us before your altars for worship and praise!

You renew the face of the earth:
renew also our hearts, Lord,
that they be fertile fields for your truth to be planted.
Grant us wisdom and discernment,
that we may study your law with delight,
and serve others through your gospel.
Help us to amend our ways,
that we are led in all things
by compassion and humility
for your glory, Lord Christ.

Send your Spirit over us and within us,
O Holy One,
and grant your peace to those we now remember.
