O God, who has sustained us and loved us through the night, we rise to thank and praise your holy Name.
May we remember all our blessings, and with grateful hearts testify to your wonders.
May we heed your call to tenderness and compassion, renouncing the forces of fear and hopelessness.
May we fight the forces of selfishness, injustice, and oppression, armed with your love and wisdom, O Holy One.
May we open our hearts with empathy, and support those bowed down by pain, illness, or anxiety.
Blessed Savior, comfort those who cry out to You, and bless those we now name.
