Most Merciful One, in You I place my trust:
I lift my heart and praise You,
my Rock and my Fortress.
O God, let me seek your wisdom,
that it may be a lamp to my heart
and lead me in paths of lovingkindness.
For wisdom in the Lord
brings mercy and justice to flower:
it opens the heart to gentleness;
it supplants enmity and scorn.
Lord Christ, place your blessing upon those
who seek to follow your way
of integrity and peace.
Holy Spirit, kindle our hearts
with gentle wisdom and grace
that our lives may sing out God's glory.
God is love and mercy indeed:
pour out your peace that knows no end,
and bless those we raise before You as we pray.
