Holy One, you made us to care for each other. We thank you for the gifts You have nurtured in those who tend to the sick, for inculcating the desire and talent of doctors and nurses to bring about healing and relief of suffering. We call upon and bless you, Love Unending, and ask that you uplift in particular those who care for your children who are fighting against illness. 

Inspire the skilled hands and hearts of doctors and nurses; spread your sheltering wings over parents and loved ones who wait for word; envelop the sick with your tender mercy and care. Bless all those in any need or concern, especially those we now name.
