Almighty
One, the shades of night are lifting, and You send dawn to greet us. We
thank You for being with us through the watches of the night. We thank You
for the gifts of life, light, and love to bind us together. Give us
strength this day to persevere when we are tired. Bring healing to those
who suffer in body, spirit or mind, and give your angels charge to
watch over those whose hearts are heavy. We pray especially for these
beloveds whom we now name.
Amen.
