Our thoughts and prayers ascend to you O Lord,
as we finish the watches of the night.
We gather ourselves in silent contemplation
of all your magnificent works,
and cherish this moment to rest before you.
You are the source of all light and goodness,
and we hope to reflect that into the world
by our actions today.
Make us the bearers of the peace
we long to see in the world.
Give your Spirit charge over those
who are weary, uncertain, or in need of healing.
