You are our stronghold and our home,
and we have rested safely under your care
throughout the night:
accept our prayers and praises
as we are led by your wisdom this day.
Help us to let go
of all that separates us from You,
that we may walk in gentleness with each other.
As autumn leaves shower us with beauty,
may we be filled with wonder
at this world you have made for us to share.
Remembering your steadfast loving-kindness,
O Shepherd of Our Souls,
may we serve each other with joy,
and embody a spirit of peace and unity,
joining in the song of fullness of hope
that rises from the abundant earth.
Set your seal upon us,
O Spirit of Charity,
and rest your blessing upon those
we remember before You.
