Most Merciful One,
Source of Light,
Ground of Our Being,
who is creating the heavens and earth,
we sing out to You in love.
O God, pour out your favor upon us this day,
and lead us into pathways of justice and peace.
Grant us courage to fight for justice and truth,
that we may be knit together
in hope in the cause of Love Incarnate.
Open our minds to your wisdom,
that we may be drawn deeper
into the mystery of your grace
with humility and gratitude.
Guide our steps in love and service,
that at day's end we are brought home to You, O Savior.
Holy One, by the power of your Spirit,
anoint us to your service this day,
and take us by the hand as we seek to follow You.
Blessed Jesus,
draw all those whom we remember before You
under the shadow of your wing, as we pray.
