we praise you beneath the bluest awning of sky,
and give thanks for your manifold mercies.
Help us to rededicate ourselves to your gospel, Lord:
to tend the sick,
to feed the hungry,
to stand with the overlooked,
to give voice to the silenced.
Your commandments enshrine
our call to live and work together
as kindred and companions,
to see You, Lord Jesus, as standing in our midst
and calling us to the values of love and community.
Give us a thirst for wisdom and kindness, O Spirit of Peace,
that we may walk in integrity if the Way of Jesus,
laying down our lives to take up your reconciling work.
Gather those for whom we pray
in the hollow of your hand, O Holy One,
and grant the blessing to rest upon those we name.
