Most Merciful One,
we lay our hearts open before You:
from our inmost being we ask
that you sanctify and purify us
that our lives tell out your wondrous love.
May we look at your handiwork, O Creator,
and be filled with wonder and praise,
and treasure all life as a gift from you.
As true disciples and witnesses of Jesus,
may we fight for justice for the oppressed
and make common cause with the poor and refugee,
sharing what we have with those in want,
dismantling systems of inequity that divide us.
Place your right hand of protection
over all who cry out to You, O Lord of Love,
and seal with your blessing those we now name.
Amen.
