We rise with gratitude to greet the day that You have given us, O Creator, and remember your goodness and mercy.
Breathe on us, Breath of God, and pour your peace over our spirits like a balm. Turn our hearts toward your Light, and cleanse us of all fear, hatred, and strife. Drive out the forces of darkness within us, O Savior, and anchor us within your goodness, compassion and mercy, we pray.
Bless those for whom we pray, O Merciful One, and pour your comfort like a balm over them.
