Eternal One, we give you thanks for the gifts you have given us this day.
We ask that you extend your hand of protection over all those threatened by flooding or other weather.
Bless and keep us, we pray, that we may treat each other as we ourselves wish to be treated. Forgive us our failures to keep peace with each other; help us strengthen our determination to live together in amity and fellowship.
Keep watch with all who work to serve the common good, O Holy One, that righteousness and compassion flourish in our hearts. Lord Jesus, press the kiss of your blessing upon the brow of those we now name, as we pray.
