O Holy One, we ask that You guide us this day: may your mercy rise over us as the rising sun gilds the skies. The Lord is our strength and our redeemer: our feet are placed upon the solid rock of hope and lovingkindness.
Blessed Jesus, heal us and bless us: may we work for unity, justice, and healing in our communities. The joy of the Holy Spirit fills our hearts as a sail fills with wind: may our lives sing out your truth, O God.
Merciful One, may we be as fierce in loving each other as we are in seeking right. Bound together in hope, we ask forgiveness for our own failures, rooting ourselves in mercy and compassion. May we seek reconciliation upon the broad plain of justice for each and every one of us, loving each other as we love ourselves.
Loving Creator, we rest within your embrace and breathe in your peace: place the seal of blessing over those we now name.
