Let us kneel before our God with open hearts: Lord Jesus, illuminate our souls and minds with your truth and love. Holy One, You are the Source of all right intentions: may we put ourselves completely at your command today.
Almighty God, we humbly ask your forgiveness for all the wrongs we have allowed to have been done in our name. Teach us to honor each other in humble joy, recognizing the imprint of God in every being. Inspire us to zealously rise up in the name of the gospel of love to work for justice, respect, and peace without fail. Let us celebrate the humanity and beauty of each person we meet, and be grateful for those whose labor sustains us.
Hold us within the palm of your hand, O Creator, and grant your blessing to those we lift before You.
