Gracious Lord, our times are in your hand: uphold us and bless us as we seek your will this day.
Help us to acknowledge the times we have failed our God and each other, that we may seek reconciliation. Kindle a fire of empathy within us, O Holy Spirit, and drive us to seek justice and equality for all. Help us to walk in love, speak in gentleness, and pray in humility, that we may serve You night and day, O Holy One. Shelter us from the blast of indifference that blows like a winter wind, and help us radiate warmth and compassion. Lord Jesus, may we seek You and your wisdom in each breath, rejoicing in your unending love for us even as we stumble.
Place your hand of protection and mercy, O Loving One, upon all who call upon You.
