Almighty God, we lift up our hearts in gratitude for the gift of this new day. Purify our hearts that we may serve You and each other in constancy, and be faithful witnesses to the power of your love. Give us the will to heal our divisions and work for peace and justice, remembering the gifts of mercy we ourselves have received. Bless and keep those who are in danger, in sorrow, or in pain, bearing them up within the embrace of your Spirit. Grant your peace, we pray, to all who seek You, and guide our feet into your way, not ours, O Holy One. Breathe out your blessing upon those we now name.
