Blessed Jesus, rule in our hearts today.
Let us raise our praises to the Lord of Heaven and Earth, who set the stars in their courses, the Loving Creator of All.
Let us release ourselves from slavery to resentment, that we may take the hand of Christ, who loves and heals us.
Let us sit in silence with God that we may be filled with joy to carry us through the day.
Let us open our hearts to the light of love, that we may be a blessing to those we meet.
Let us be bold in proclaiming the gospel of peace by working for justice in all that is done in our name.
Holy One, make your face shine upon us, and let your Spirit alight within our souls that we blaze forth in faith. Rest your hand, we pray, upon the heads of those who kneel before you, and bless and keep those whose hope is in You.
