Most Merciful One,
accept our prayers and praises
as we dedicate this day to your service,
and seek to live out your love
made visible in our lives.
Shepherd of Our Souls,
take us by the hand
and lead us in paths of charity and hope.
Gather within your comfort, Lord Jesus,
all who face any turmoil or trial:
strengthen and guard them by your mercy
as we pray.
