Most Merciful God,
your enfolding arms have held us
through the long hours of the night.
May we continues to feel your embrace
throughout this day, Lord Jesus,
and be glad for its gift from You.
Place us high upon a promontory, O Holy One,
when clouds gather so that we may see our way,
ever trusting in your guidance.
Keep us within your sheltering hand
and strengthen us in grace and hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Uplift those for whom we pray, Blessed Savior,
and shield them with your mercy and love as we pray.
Amen.
