as the morning mist,
that we may praise You in each moment of this day.
Forgive us our sins and pride,
and convert us anew to love and service,
we humbly pray.
Dwell within our hearts, Lord Jesus,
and help us make them into a temple worthy of your mercy.
Give us the grace to serve You fully, Lord,
and carry your gospel into the world in all we do.
Give us strength to seek out your path
nd walk in your ways in love and service.
Crown the spirits
of those hurting, anxious, or oppressed
with your blessing, O Holy One,
especially those we now name.
