Prayer 1533

Presiding Bishop Curry brings the word in his address on April 4.
Most Merciful God, we bow before You in thanks and praise,
remembering your faithful love and compassion.
You, O God, are the source of all that lives and breathes:
guard us and keep us in holiness, we pray.
We acknowledge before You our faults and sins:
pour forth your grace like a balm in Gilead.
Strengthen us and renew our spirits, Lord Christ,
that we may be living testaments to your gospel of love.
Gather within your embrace all who cry out to you,
O Spirit of Healing,
and rest your blessing upon those we now name.

Amen.
