Almighty God, our longing for you is deeper than the depths of the sea, and our souls thirst for you night and day. You give us your loving-kindness during the day, and your comfort in the watches of the night as we wait and we pray, as we rest and we dream. Guard, strengthen, and comfort, we pray, these your children, and uphold them in their need.
Amen.
