We give thanks to You, O Creator: may our praise rise with the morning sun, and our hearts be filled with your light.
May we ask forgiveness of all we have wronged, and treat each other with care and compassion.
May we always consider the consequences of our words and actions even after forgiveness is sought.
May we let go of those old hurts that weigh us down, that we may testify to your healing power in the world.
May we see the image of You, O Christ, in each other, and make a home for You within our hearts.
Wrap us in the mantle of your mercy, O Holy One, and send your angels to comfort those we now name.
