Most Merciful God, we come before You with humble, hopeful hearts, ready to worship You and give You praise. Unite all people in prayer to know your abiding love and care, that we may all be one, drawn together in the name of your love.
Give us the faith to trust in You to bring us safely ashore even when our boat is tossed upon the tumultuous waves of this life.
Forgive us for all our offenses, done by us and on our behalf, and spread the balm of your mercy upon our wounded hearts. Protect and shield those who turn to You in sorrow or in joy, for You are the God of All, our Creator and Redeemer.
Holy One, bend near and shine the light of your countenance upon us as we pray.
Amen.
