Prayer 728
Holy, holy, God, merciful and just, may we breathe in your justice and your peace, and be filled with the light of your wisdom. May we seek to serve You in serving each other, blessed Redeemer. May we root out the weeds of war and hatred in our hearts, and seek to see the face of your Son in every one. Lord God, You know our hearts, and yet you love us anyway. Help us strive to be worthy of your name, O God of Peace, and be true disciples to your calling. Lord, we come to You today, longing for your embrace, hungry for your hand of healing in our spirits. Soothe the ache of those who mourn and give light to those who have lost their way. Merciful One, we lift up our prayers to You, and ask that your blessing warm the hearts of those we now name.
Amen.
