The Lord of Hosts calls to the people, let us answer God with a shout of joy!
Holy One, You call us to come before your altars, may we worship You with all our heart, mind, and soul.
We bring before You all that we are, and ask that You hallow, bless, and purify us, to center our hearts upon Your Word. We bring before You our repentance for the times we have strayed from the path of love faithfulness; forgive us, we pray. We bring before You our joys and thanksgivings, for we know all good things come from You, who loves us completely. We bring before You our hopes and our fears, asking You to strengthen us that we may persevere.
We bring before You our sorrows and our pain, remembering those whom we love who have left us: let your light shine upon them. We bring before You the needs and concerns of those who call upon You.
Amen.
