We put our trust in You
and ask the light of your countenance
upon us and all those for whom we pray.
Grant your wisdom and guidance
to the hands and minds of surgeons, doctors, and nurses,
for all who practice the healing arts,
that they may restore their patients to wholeness and health,
and be protected from all danger and heartbreak.
Place the balm of your Spirit
upon all who are ill, anxious, or awaiting news,
that your Name may be glorified.
Strengthen us in faith, that we may go out
to live and serve you in faith and hope,
commending these loved ones to your care.
