God of the Infinite,
You hold all that is within your light.
All that you have made is beloved,
fashioned through your wisdom
by the skill of your hand.
May we be beautiful instruments in your hands, O God,
and may you draw from us
the melody of true justice, mercy, and peace,
fed by our communion within You.
May we ever seek your wisdom,
and humbly extol your mystery and infinite compassion
that we may seek these qualities within ourselves,
and witness to you in all our ways.
Your eye is upon us
like the bright eye of the nuthatch and wren,
who trust in your providence
and call us to do likewise.
You draw the universe together
through the force of attraction,
galaxies, nations, families
all drawn together by your call to love and communion.
and the gravity of the life we share.
Guide us now, O Light and Love Everlasting,
that we may walk in the way of peace and hope
standing alongside each other and all creation
in fellowship and affinity to your precepts.
Grant the shade of your peace
to all who seek You,
to all you who hunger for justice,
and to all who long for healing and rest,
especially those whom we now name.
Amen.
