Praise to You, O Compassionate One,
for You have upheld me through the watches of the night.
You burnish my spirit with your lovingkindness,
that I may serve You with gladness,
embodying your tender care
for all those in any need.
O God, haven of my soul,
draw me into the cool shade of your wisdom,
and enclose me within the bounds of your mercy.
Beloved Savior,
be my steadfast companion this day,
and by the power of the Holy Spirit vouchsafe all
who turn to You seeking comfort and relief,
as we pray.
