With joy, we ask you
to lead us into the harvest field, O Lord Jesus,
that we may sing your praise
and carry your message into the world.
May we labor for the glory of your kingdom,
preaching your grace and mercy
through our lives and our actions, Blessed Savior.
May we heal the wounds of all who ache
and knit together relationships torn asunder
in the name of the God we worship,
who destroys all boundaries
and tears down all walls.
Lord Jesus, You spoke your peace to us,
let us work for peace
as we offer the needs of these beloveds to You
as we pray.
Amen.
