Holy One, Blessed Trinity,
we hear your music in the air,
and we rise to sing our praise to You.
We hear your delight, O Creator,
in the conversation between the wind and the trees,
and join in their applause at all your wonders
in this world you have knit around us.
We taste your goodness, O Beneficent One,
in fruit ripe from the vine,
in water cold and clean,
in warm bread, savory and sweet,
and we pray for the wisdom and heart
to ensure everyone can enjoy these gifts.
As you are God's song made flesh, Beloved Jesus,
may we embody your gospel,
sing your truth by the lives we live,
and preach your love with our actions.
May we reflect your generosity and blessing, O Christ,
in embracing the refugee with compassion,
in honoring workers for their toil with a living wage,
in advocating for the poor with dignity and empathy,
in caring for the sick and the lost with gentleness,
in treating each other as companions and kindred,
with kindness, integrity, and charity.
Draw us within the lea of your blessing,
Spirit of Wisdom and Truth,
and send your angels to shelter and aid
all those for whom we pray.
