O Blessed, Almighty God, You are the Source of all good desires: draw us into wisdom and faithfulness. Anoint us with the fire of the Holy Spirit, that we may be lit from within by your love and empathy for all living things. Center us within your peace, Most Merciful One, that we may walk the path of justice and equanimity in all our journeys today. May we be gentle with those we meet, and tender with those who need comfort or aid, as a reflection of your Love, O God. May we be grateful to all who have helped us, and generous to those in need or trouble. Lord Jesus, your arms are open wide: draw within your embrace those we now name, and bless them.
