Prayer 860

Van Gogh- Fishing Boats on the Beach at Saintes-Maries.

Blessed Savior, we call upon You as we set forth in this day, and ask fair weather for all our travels.

Spread your favor over us like the canopy of the sky, and shelter us along the lee side of your protection, O Lord.
Draw our feet out of the nets of our enemies and those with whom we quarrel, and give us the humility to make amends to those we've wronged.

May the rising tide of your compassion lift us from the shoals of sin, bearing us safely homeward to the loving arms of Christ.

You are our safe harbor in times of trial, O God, and your love propels us forward knowing You are ever and always our home.

Master, we cast ourselves upon the vast sea of your love: receive the prayers that we raise before You.

Amen.
