God, you have given us this day to
accomplish your will; let us do the work your have given us to do with
rejoicing.
Today, in whatever I do, let me do it in love, which is the greatest power of all.
Today, whatever I do, let me do it in hope.
Today whatever I do, let me do it in faithfulness to your Word.
Today, whatever I do, let me do it aware of your Spirit strengthening me and empowering me.
Guide us and guard us, O Loving One, and grant us the shelter of your mighty wings. Shade us and shield us from the storms and temptations of this life that try to draw us from You. Knit us together in one accord for the cause of justice and peace. And send your angels to watch over these for whom we pray this day.
