Blessed are You, Lord God of hosts, and blessed is this day which You have made! Holy One, we thank You for protecting us thru our rest, and watching over us as we sleep.
May we draw our strength from your love and truth, O God, to meet the day and proclaim your goodness in the world. May we be eager disciples of Jesus Christ, and carry his banner into the world through our joy and holiness. May we seek to serve the suffering and comfort the sick, and to reach out to those who are lost. Help us to be faithful stewards of your message of hope, Lord Christ, in all that we do and say.
Spirit of Wonder and Healing, we ask that You descend upon those who are in our hearts today.
