Blessed Redeemer, bring us under the awning of your mercy today, we pray. Uplift our hearts and spirits, that they may fasten upon your holy wisdom from the center of our being. Lord Christ, we are mindful of our faults and of not doing what we ought to do: forgive us and restore us, in your mercy. Help us to value each other despite our differences, and to build amity, empathy, and justice for all. Preserve us in the face of trials, and strengthen us to do your will, O God, that we may be true disciples. May your abiding peace envelop all who are troubled in body, mind, or spirit, Holy One. Watch over those for whom we pray, O God, and grant them rest.
