We
stand within your gates, O Holy One, offering up our pilgrim hymns as we
journey to your Truth.
The Spirit of God moves over the still waters of
our hearts, preparing them to receive
the Holy Word of God. Kindle within us, O Christ, hearts aflame for
doing your will. May the Lord guide us and guard us in all our ways,
that we may look forward to the coming of the Prince of Peace. May we
sink into the embrace of the Almighty, who offers us rest from all our
trials.
Accept the prayers and supplications of your people, O God, as
we lift them up before You.
Amen.
