Teach
us your ways, O God, that we may follow them all the days of our lives.
Help us to walk humbly before You and before our fellow-travelers upon
this earth, as your Son walked among us
as a beggar. Let us earnestly seek the pardon of those who have wronged,
and open our hearts to those in need. Let us combine justice and mercy
in our actions, and be more quick to love than to condemn. Let us see
the face of Christ in all who call out to us, that all be drawn together
in the communion of heaven.
Hear the prayers of those whose hope is not
in our own worthiness but in You alone, and your Love.
Amen.
