Prayer 246

 

Merciful God, let me arise each day with your praise on my lips and your song in my heart. Let each beat of my pulse echo with gratitude for your manifold blessings You have placed at my feet. Let me remain steadfast on your path of love and kindness to each being within your creation, and walk with justice. Let me take up the cause of the poor, the outcast, the broken-hearted; let me be a warrior for peace. Sing out praise and honor to the Holy One, and join hands that all division may cease. Remember now, O Loving One, the prayers and petitions of your children, especially those we now name. Amen.
